Recently, the organizers of ACM Recommender Systems 2010 announced which workshops will held together with the main conference. One of the more exciting workshops is the Challenge on Context-aware Movie Recommendation (CAMRa2010), of which I serve on the programme committee. This workshop focuses on identifying contextual features in datasets and generating context-aware movie recommendations. They are also releasing two data sets for the challenge, one from Moviepilot and one from Filmtipset, and they are running three very interesting recommendation tasks.
